Because so much happens between newborn and one! Your baby changes so quickly during that first year. One minute your baby is curled up in your arms, and suddenly they're sitting, smiling, laughing and showing you exactly who they're becoming. Baby Milestone Sessions are designed to capture all of those little things you want to hold onto forever—their adorable expressions, chunky little legs, tiny details, and that personality that seems to grow by the day. We can photograph your baby anywhere between 3, 6, and 9 months of age. Ideally once they are comfortable with tummy time, sitting, and/or standing on their own. Capturing each of these milestones is such an important part of your baby's story, which is why I also offer Grow with Me Collections. Cake smash sessions are a fun and simple way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. These sessions are designed to feel relaxed and playful, capturing real reactions, messy moments, and your baby’s personality. Sessions take place at my Cedar Park home studio with simple, clean setups and guidance on colors and styling.
What to Expect
Cake smash sessions are typically around one hour long and include a cake and simple props to match your preferred theme. These sessions are fun, messy, and baby-led—I recommend bringing an extra outfit and a bag for cleanup after. It is recommended to reserve your baby's spot well in advance to ensure availability. Pregnancy is such a special time in our lives. Before we realize it, we are chasing around a toddler and will have forgotten that peaceful time during pregnancy. I often hear “This is the last time…” The last time it will be just the two of us. The last time we will be a family of three. The last time my daughter/son will be an only child. And it is so true! We never get these moments back. It is recommended to have maternity photos taken between 30 and 34 weeks pregnant. Haley’s Maternity Photography Sessions take place at an outdoor location of your choice in or near Austin, Texas, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, Georgetown, or surrounding areas. Should you need help picking a location, Haley has plenty of ideas for you! These sessions begin at dusk, just before sunset, so that we can take advantage of the gorgeous glowing light. It is recommended to reserve your due date once you enter your second trimester to ensure availability.
